Denise Wright has confessed shes delighted to be asked to run the Ireland National Nail Championships at Professional in Dublin this year. Many of you will know Denise already. After 25 years in the nail industry, as a salon and training school owner, International judge and Competition Director for three competitions in England, one in Scotland and now her first in Ireland, Denise has been a huge inspiration to most of us..

Pinching Clips:Some of you who have been on one of sam biddles workshops will have seen her use these amazing little clips when demoing gel and acrylic designs. These nifty little clamps are perfect to get a C curve in your gel nails; pinch and then place under the UV lamp, the clear plastic will allow the sides to cure. The clamps are curved so sit neatly on the free edge of the nail and they are also perfect to get the pinch in acrylic nails, they will hold the free edge into shape.Available in packs of 3

Rules, Hints & Tips:

* Can be a 1 hand shot or you can put as many hands in as you want, can use feet!

* Make sure you understand the theme and what your being marked on.

The great scratch shoot out is Scratch Magazines annual photographic competiton, held each year at the Olympia Beauty Show in London, UK. The years competition recieved a grand total of 51 entries from all over the world and Bethany Grace was placed just 4 points from the top ten at Number 16. Congratulations to Competiton Winner Megumi Mizuno from the UK

Bethany Grace represented ENP as competiton judge last week at the lastest national nail competitons in spain. Held at the Fermasa trade show in Granada, Spain on the 20th and 21st of March and competitons consisted in the following categories: Acrylic Sculpture, Gel Tip and Overlay and Fantasy Nail Art. Joining Bethany grace were three of the nail industrys finest, Spains own Carmen Casillas, the amazing Elena Shanskaya and Elena Daudova from Russia.

The 1st place trophies for both the acrylic and gel categories were taken by

 Anne Ryaskova.

This years Cosmobelleza trade show in Barcelona, took the spanish nail industry to a new level by hosting the 1º MIXED MEDIA competition in spain... ever!. Cosmobelleza is one of spains biggest trade shows and attracts thousands of profesionals from all over the world every year. The theme for the Mixed media competition was Disney and as expected Bethany Grace was one of the 30 techs that took part.

Id like to say a huge CONGRATULATIONS to all of the girls that sent in a design for the ENP winter nail art competiton. The comp was a huge hit and we were all very impressed with the high level of work.

Bethany grace was placed in the top ten best nail art designs in the 1ST PHOTOGRAPHIC NAIL COMPETITON set up by the nail team and scratch magazine. All contestants had to pick a bag or purse and design a full set of matching nails. A total of 65 nail techs from all over the world sent in there pictures. Just last week Bethany Grace traveled to Madrid, Spain to represent Essential Nails at the huge international nail and beauty trade show. The show, which lasted 3 days, was attended by thousands of profesionals from all over Europe. Bethany provided demostrations in nail art and airbrush techniques as well as offering time saving tips to all nail professionals. On sunday, Bethany Grace also participated in the International 3d Nail Art Competition. Each contestant had to design and create the full look of the model, including the hair, make up and dress.
